The ASEA Health Benefits Trust has negotiated discounts with Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), which means these providers charge less for the services they provide to Health Trust participants. This helps to keep your health care costs down, while also helping the Health Trust maintain outstanding benefits and minimize your monthly employee contribution rates.
In some cases, the Plan benefits are the same, regardless of whether you use a PPO provider. In other cases, you will pay more if you use a non- PPO provider for services that could have been obtained from a PPO provider. Please note that the Health Trust has several types of PPOs.
